Any of you who have DirecTV, Ch. 345 is Rural Farming TV, watched Cattlemen to Cattlemen and the Cattle Show last night and an Angus Bull auction this past weekend.

I just happened to find the channel scrolling through the hundreds on DirecTV.

It has been part of the Direct TV package for several years already.  It is a fantastic channel, I DVR Cattleman to Cattleman and teh Cattle Show nearly every week.

Most like last nights Cattle Show are paid advertisements, however they are still extremely informative.

I enjoy the channel as well.  One show I didn't care for the other day, Postcards from NE.  Surely they can find somebody to publish something current from Nebraska.  Filmed in the 80's,  Did Jethro and Granny move to Nebraska.  If I was the Gov of Nebraska,  I wouldn't ever let something like that represent my state on Television.

I love it when I get the chance to watch parts of the Bull Sales by Superior this time of year.  Because it's on Television with a time slot, Man those auctioneers can move through the cattle.  I asume that there are no cattle going through the ring at these auctions.  My new favorite catch phrase from the Auctioneer during the Hot selling Hereford bull sale the other day when talking about scrotal measurements, "41 cm's on the BULLET FACTORY"

I think there is enough horse stuff to make another channel.  I like some of the horse stuff but geesh.. how many different training methods that are all about the same do I really want to watch.

I love these bull sales also. Its a good all around channel. I do think there is live cattle going through the ring . I have heard them have to wait and then the auctioneer say go on bull get out of this ring. I could be wrong

We have it and love it....DVR all the sales and watch them in the evening.  My 3 year old really likes watching the rodeo/bucking bulls sell.  The one the other day was pretty cool as they tried to ride the bull while the auction was going on.

If you don't get RFDTV with your cable package just start begging them to carry it, it worked for me!

I enjoy a lot of the programming as well.  Many times on Fri afternoons when I'm in my office I'll have a bull sale on!!  I also like some of the horse programming even though we're not very active in the horse business anymore.

Somehow, I knew you'd  like the Hee Haw re-runs, Stumpy--- I can identify with Junior Sample myself, although anymore maybe it should be Grandpa!!
