where do i find out more info about the recent removal of some shorthorn bull's questionable EPD's.?  I'd like to know more.

Why don't you just call Dr Moore on Monday & ask him?

I'd recommend talking directly with Patrick Wall at the ASA rather than trying to get opinions and gossip from other websites or discussion groups.JMHO

without 100% reporting on say 100 calves from multiple herds, epd's have too high of a coefficient of variation.  herd letters are probably more accurate for most people's use.

If you don't have any of the "popular" bloodlines like you say & it's not going to affect you any , then what difference does it make?

just curios to see how if it would just zero his epd's and start over fresh... or what the deal would happen.  Would also be curious to see if it effected his sires epd's as well.  To me, it seems that if they just zero them all, and start over fresh, the same thing will happen...

I have to call ASA tommorrow, I'll just ask them, and get back to you with what they say... so the world can read it regardless!

Please. Do not stir the pot. Do not upset the status quo. And do not question the advice of the shorthorn people on this board. It makes the social events very uncomfortable.
