You may be referring to our bull CF Star Bucks. No calves on the ground yet but should be a few this spring. He is sired by CF Sonic which is a Tonic son. Cates do have another red Sonic son that was division champion at Louisville and I believe they are wanting to sell him private treaty or at Denver. He is pretty good.Olson Family Shorthorns said:aj said:Didn't cates have a red bull they were selling semen on? Has any of those calves hit the ground. Thats Funny...I can't win an arguement with someone who had a 160# salute calf.
You mean their Tonic son? I've seen some, and I like them alright. I wasn't a HUGE fan of Tonic, but I appreciated the outcross/calving ease option.
He looks like a nice bull. That's the first time I have seen a photo included with a bulls pedigree on The ASA site. Is that new and what is the process to put a photo up?JTM said:You may be referring to our bull CF Star Bucks. No calves on the ground yet but should be a few this spring. Thanks for the compliment. There is a yearling picture of him on our website. He is looking really good right now. I didn't even know that picture was on there! I think they started that within the last year or so. I actually don't know how you get it on their and I don't know how our picture got placed. Either Cates did it and didn't tell me or the Association did it. Maybe they do it for All Americans?Okotoks said:He looks like a nice bull. I did this a few years ago:
I didnt change the breeders prefix just the name of the bull calf. A written consent from the breeder is all I needed and something like a $10 fee. Call Aaron or Gwen
