Hmm I guess I learn something new all the time! Did not know Bojo was calving ease

Wouldn't say he is proven calving ease.  Just been having smaller calves out of him so I could see how someone may think he was calving ease.  Anybody else have the same experience with Bojo or is it just the drought here in Texas that is making them small?

Had a 100 pound plus Bojo heifer last spring.  I would not use him on heifers,  at least not on heifers that you value.

Not sure, but it HAS to be heat wave, Monopoly, and walks alone in that order, at least thats my guess.

Nice data^

doesn't surprise me about carnac. he has been around long enough that people know what he works well on.

heatwave and monopoly got used on absolutely everything and i doubt walks alone was far behind.

Good info.  Lautners blog has a lot more high steers than what is in the cattle.com info....

Most of the bull owners have much better info on high sellers for calves from their bulls.

Our goal with that report is quite a bit different than theirs.  The data you see on that page is just what we can gleen from online sales.  We try as hard as we can to make it an apples to apples comparison and therefore don't take individual high seller reports without the info for the entire sale.

It should also be noted that the link above is only for sales since 7-1-11.  For the spring sales down south... http://www.cattle.com/Markets/2011_southern_steer_sale_results.aspx
