I like my Nintendo DS pretty well. It's pretty fun but the graphics aren't that good. I still prefer my old PS2 over any other game systems. I don't have the PSP but it looks neat too.

Usually a cow will calve within 2 weeks of her due date (2 weeks before or 2 weeks after). They can have a calf within a month of their due date and be fine. I wouldn't worry too much yet but it's always best to keep an eye on her.

This might be a dumb question, but what is a scramble heifer? I'm just curious. I never heard of this.

We use motor oil and it works great. Also, if you keep your animal in a barn, spray your barn. We had a heifer beforethat had a favorite fence post to rub on too so we tied an oily rag to it so if she tried rubbing she'd at least be rubbing oil on herself. Good luck.

I like music videos but if you are trying to sell an animal (or anything), I'd worry about breaking copyright violations from using someone's music without their permission. But if you were just showing pictures of your calf without trying to sell her/advertise something it probably wouldn't...

I'm glad some other people use vinegar on their cattle! Everyone was making fun of me for using it on my heifers.  ;D

Placing a heifer lower in a class just because her clipping wasn't the best sounds a little ridiculous, especially if it was a kid's heifers. I think that its better if the judge would have said something was wrong with the heifer. Pointing out that the kid didn't clip his/her animal the best...

PETA thinks of a lot of stupid things. I think most kids who sell BEEF steers, know what is going to happen to them.  ::) Throwing rabbits and lizards in the trash?... I haven't heard that one yet. PETA is so dumb.
