I don't normally like Shear Force.  Lot of calving ease throw aways, however that is one of the better Shear Force heifers I have seen. Great set of calves.

What is the maternal side of the Louisville heifer?

One thing that I have always been amazed on Hollywood Queen is her -13 milk EPD.  I own one granddaughter, and she is easily the worst milker on the place.

While she is obviously a legend I would be kind of surprised to see her bring 6 figures.  She is 14 years old. 

You have to go back quite a ways.  3 generations back on the cows side is the old bull Cezon. The same cow has given me two all black calves.  I bred her to Built Right hoping I could have a white face out of her, and this guy showed up. He is pretty cool.  I secretly wish he was a heifer.

But I must admit I didn't expect this much white. :o One day old out of a PB Simmy (Ameritrade x Prowler) cow.  I think my hopes of selling him as a bull are now officially gone.

The list of Dream On sons is long and gettign longer. A Dream On son with tons of milk is Built Right.  He can and will throw lots of white, and is heterozygous black, however he makes some great mamas.

Good healthy looking bull, but that is about all there is to tell. What are his bloodlines?

Back when he had the 12 as a CE number, and was touted as having a 55 pound birth weight.  He was touted as a great heifer bull.  Since then the CE number dropped to a .7, and the rumor of him being a twin (which led to the low BW) has never fully gone away.  (Even though I don't think it is true)

So his numbers got even worse for the Fall EPD's. His CE is now a .7, and his BW is  a 3.0. Not bad going from a 12 to a .7 on teh CE number  :o

Anyone else have any more calf reports?  I am thinking of breeding a few falls back to him.

I also find it interesting that so many people nominated him.  Talk about a marketing machine working.  He is a nice enough bull, but I am not even sure he should be included in a list of Top 5 Dream On sons, let alone top Simmental sires.

I have never heard an update of any sorts, but two or three years ago Parisien's stuffed head was stolen from in Canada.  Did anyone hear if it was ever found?
