What about a 3/4 Angus sired bull? Similar thoughts to what Olson and xbar suggested . Does OCC or Duff have a 3/4 bull?  I like creating the 5/8 x 3/8 females.  Best of luck, post photos when you can.

The Heatseeker pedigree is also potentially a DS carrier, so if you're testing.... test for both DS and TH. If this female is Heatseeker top and bottom on pedigree, then she is potentially DSH?  Cheaper to do both tests at the same time.

You cant search a pedigree if it's a black  commerical non papered animal?  That's my point.

The maternal grand sire Max 335 had plenty of kill data entered into ASA back when Nick Hammett ran the shorthorn feed trials. Later I am not sure if all of it was entered or not - any way great bull.  Semen is probably still available - check with  A&T cattle.
