    Beleive In Me

i had 6 of them this year.  going to use more this spring.  biggest one on variety of cows was 85 lbs.  i would contemplate him on 2nd calvers, but no concerns at all on mature cows.  They come small and get better every day.

    Wade Rodgers

Wade offers the cream of the crop in his sales and has an incredible eye for quality.  His top will be high, but he has lots to offer and is great to work with.  I would highly recommend going to his sale.  they don't all sell for really high numbers, but his quality is very deep.  he also...

thanks Jamie, Eye Candy worked really well on my char influenced cows.  seem to get really good hair on every mating.  wiish he would have given me more smokey calves, but not complaining on quality.  will use him heavy on them again this spring.  I really like how the carnac's feed and he makes...

    BIM vs. Walks Alone...

BIM tends to make them smoother and better shouldered, Walks make them STOUT.  on a sunseeker i would tend to lean to BIM.  Walks is recommended on smooth shouldered maternal type cows.

    What is your biggest?

have had some big ones, but the one that stands out was a 132 lb Dr Who on an old line Maine cow.  unassisted.  I remember because my dad called to tell me she calved and said, "don't worry about this one nursing, it's big enough to eat silage!"

    Eye Candy Semen $50?

i don't have a problem paying up for bulls that i know will work.  Like HW and Monopoly have proven their ability to work on certain cows and Mayer 734 before them.  If he is proven to be a producer on certain cows, it is foolish not to pay the extra $20-$25 and know what to expect.  I don't...
