World's most beautiful cow on display in Quebec

No matter what breed it is VERY hard to be Grand Champion once much less twice in two years at a major.  Plus the management of the cow to keep her in such good show shape.  I (knowing very little about milk cows) would think that it is a huge management feat. Beautiful dairy cow.

Charolais Jr Nationals Champion Bull and Champion Bred and Owned Female

Bull and heifer are Septembers.  Don't discount the baby on the cow.  She is an April.  Too small in picture to tell much about her however she is starting to develop as she matures.  Here is a picture of the cow with last years calf.

Charolais Jr Nationals Champion Bull and Champion Bred and Owned Female

The pair is the Champion Bred and Owned Female (Perfect Mac x SCR Frenchy)  and the Bull is the Champion Bull (Firewater X SCR Frenchy)  from the KC Charolais Jr Nationals.  The heifer is the Division one champion. (Firewater x Prime Cut).  I still love out Prime Cut females.

    Everclear

Personally most people I know that have a "buzz on" either act goofy, stupid or are just plain mean drunks.  Alcohol doesn't sound like the answer to "slowing an animal down".  Also pjkjr4, sugar tends to make most humans hyper and it sounds like the cherry koolaide mixed with alcohol stimulated...

    May Be Looking For Hay

The corp has certainly made the statement this year that agriculture is the least of their concerns.  Agriculture has been impacted by their decisions from North Dakota to the Gulf.  No one can control mother nature however, I do feel that they made poor decisions (or procrastinated) early on in...

    Jr. Nationals in Kansas City

Although we have personally never had an issue while attending the Am Royal in KC it is not in the best area of the city.  I think that he is just telling you to be aware of what is going on around you especially if you are at the Wendy's/convenience store after dark.  There have been robberies...

    Jr. Nationals in Kansas City

Any Jr Nationals is what you make of it.  It is not just a livestock show it is also a place for our young adults to showcase their talents in a variety of areas such as photography, art, poster design, cooking, speech, fitting etc.  Go in with an open mind realizing that there can only be one...

Everyone in the Joplin area alright?

God Bless Crossland Construction and their crews.  They are alway some of the first to respond when help is needed in our area.  I would agree with Bar R. The hotel situation in Joplin will not be good this weekend.  PM me if you need phone numbers for hotels in Carthage.

Everyone in the Joplin area alright?

I don't know for certain but unless a smaller tornado went through their area they are South of the tornado that went through Joplin on Sun afternoon.  Death toll now stand at 116 and I expect that number to rise.  The damage to homes and businesses is hard to fathom.  entire blocks have...

This is part of the problemin the world! No common sense! N/C

This guy is just milking the system just like many others out there.  It is sad that our society has become what it has .  ME ME ME.  I will not sacrifice for the greater good that is the other persons responsiblity. Did anyone watch the segment on Fox this week with Dick Morris.  He didn't...

Calves going over due date didn't want to hijack OH Breeders thread

It seems to me that starting in April (we start calving the first of March)  several of our cows have gone over and the calves have been HUGE in comparison to previous years with the exact same matings on some. I believe that the extreme weather that we have experienced in our area has become a...

    Texas Fires

The rather sketchy news that we are hearing up here it sounds like it could literally get no worse for folks in Texas.  With the terrible winds we are getting up here I can only imagine how fast those fires are traveling if your winds are as strong as they have been in SW Missouri. Our prayers...
