Best Calving Ease Bulls that still produce competive show cattle.

Wondering what calving ease bull throws consistently low bw but still throws quality calves that can compete and sell.
Why is Class on Class not available on the open market as of now? Was thinking about breeding heifers to him.
What are other good Calving ease bulls? The new Minn Peace of Mind baldy out of No Worries intrigues me a little bit but not sure if I want to breed him yet.

We have a new one that should be hitting the market fairly soon.  Sublime.  He’ll just be a year old on the first and has been out at Hawkeye for about 6 weeks and is collecting fairly well. Has some performance to him and should make good steers and great heifers. Double clean and 70 lb birthweight. We don’t have any promotional pics, just a couple 7 month wash rack pics.

Our BDR calves out of Walks Alone cow and a Maine cow were about 85-90# and built like bricks.  Kinda looked the same as fats as the day they were born.  Wouldn't put him on any of our heifers.

I80 definitely makes some cool calves of both sexes, but just in my experience I wouldn't say he is a fail-safe heifer bull. I bred a SimAngus heifer to him a few years back. Ended up pulling a 96 pound calf.... The cow was very moderate in size and has not had a calf over the 85 pound mark ever since, including two Front and Center calves. Just what I have experienced, I know that he has treated a lot of heifers right!

Mark. He doesn’t have any shorthorn that I’m aware of. He’s out of dual threat, which is an I-80 out of the first Who da Man x Ace of Winegardner’s and his dam is a Maternal Perfection (Whiskey son) Who da Man x Kadabra x Ali x Total Play x Black Jack Simmi. The hair comes from the Kadabra. A lot of calving ease on the bottom and the Dual Threats are usually small at birth and come easy. Sublime was 1240 when he went to the stud at almost 10 months. He’ll improve udder quality and milk too. He’s a one stop shop kinda bull. And he’s PHA and TH clean. He would be perfect on your Fresh Air heifer.

We’ll price him at $30. We want him to be used. We just bred a small group to him, so if they took we’ll see what they’re going to do. The cow families are very consistent in his pedigree.

Hey CRS the Fresh air has turned into the incredible string bean-Real late maturing-extreme growth-real narrow until the grow settles down I think hed work on this roan in type bad pics-she is very moderate-She was LOW BW-but has the sow look and could use a bigger grow deal looking for a blue roan- there are very few shorthorns like her but 30 years of maternal with a few shots of maine , Oklahoma cattle and proud jazz along the way Some of these pics  are 2 months or so ago -Shes a May O0

I'd like to make that happen.  He's a May also and has some performance, was over 1200 at 10 months.  He should be coming home in the next week or so, but we'll keep collecting him as long as he is out there.  Last week he gave us 153 units from one collection.  Going to try and get him some condition when he gets home so we can picture him.  If you make it through Ohio, I'll give you semen to take home, he'll work on her for sure. And they'll be dual registered as Plus and Chi.
