in regard to the manitou bull, i was told this is a pic of his sire (ie. the prais champion) - hint: he's related to Etula

GOOGLE DIDN'T TELL ME ANYTHING, IT JUST SHOWED ME A PICTURE ;) THE BREED COULD BE FB CHI, SHORT, CHAROLAIS OR ONE O' THOSE MILKERS :))) XXCC's BULL SAYS GRIZZLED AND NARLY LOOKIN

Isn't the shortie Ringmaster?

Whitey is a Charolais (legs too short for a Chi), purchased in 1965 - a quarter interest for $84,000  - 84 Idaho breeders bought into the action for $1000 each - does that help any ya?

YEAH IT'S RINGMASTER...DID YOU LOOK ON THE WEBSITE WITH ALL THE OTHER OLDIES...LOTSA GOOD STUF ON THERE...INTERESTING FAT STEERS,3 FEET TALL (lol)

the picture of the narly grizzly simmental was taken the same year as the picture of Covino III in reply #42.

also included here is a scrape from the bottom of the barrel of a bull taken in 1974 -

you got it, taken at stan spicers the same day as Teton's picture.  where's telos when you need him?

Well actually it is the result of my excellent pattern recognition skills!  ;D ;D He was a better looking baby than an adult - a common problem with todays highly promoted bulls! Cna't blame me, a friend gave me the cheat sheet! Now we need a Simmie hint......"
