What we need to do is blow a trench through the rocky mountains in Colorado. This would allow moisture to shoot through the mountains instead of going up over the mountains and doing the rain shadowover eastern Colorado and western Kansas. We could double the annual rainfall of Goodland Kansas to 40 inches of precip per year. How hard could it be? The continental divide is what....13,000 feet. I think start blasting about where Boulder is located on west. It would generate shovel ready jobs.
