i was just looking at some all white shorthorn bulls and was wonting to know what every one thought? who is the best one these days.
here are a few that i can remember off the top of my head :Adrenaline, Rock n Roll Train, Casper, Notoerious, TM Gus, Sin city, Absolut, okie dokie
i just love how white there are, they remined me if charolais but with a little more style. but i love the new charolai bull out this year felony. i cant wait to see what his calves come out like

Those are definitely some good ones, but I thought they were mainly looking for White Shorthorns.


Vegas is like Sin City, only better.  Doesn't sire quite as much frame, and sires a TON of thickness and hair.  He IS a TH carrier though.

I'm not a shorty man myself but I like the sin city calves, but after I saw some pics of Gus I like him better than Sin City, plus they got sexed semen on him.  (thumbsup)

I don't think they have Sin City sexed semen right now, but they have sexed Gus semen at $100/straw I think.

Sexed on Gus is 100$/straw and normal is 30$/straw. They dont have sexed sin city as far as I know.

my picks for white shorties are sin city gus and i also like canasta vegas has sired some good ones but have seen some cripples as well from what i've heard rock and roll train has what it takes to be a great one time will tell. Other good shorties i agree with the get serious and we are going to use some HD Swagger this year he is young but really puts a lot into one package.

Vegas and Gus I would say. You want a sound cow that has a nice front end, the bulls are pretty darn good.

If you want sexed semen without the cost, look at Bull plus and heifer plus, emgeneticslab.com. We jsut flushed 2 cows and used these products and did not hurt the quality or # of embroys.  Our daughter uses it in an ET center in TX and one of the first set of cavles using it has 13 of 14 heifers, just what they wanted.  It cost around 10 dose.
