I might be able to go along with your 'correlation' theory.  Sounds plausible.  But riddle me this, Heat Wave has a ton of sons out there. A ton of the bulls most would associate with TH--hair, bone and hip.  The THC HW sons outnumber clean HW sons 4 to 1 at least, and probably more than that...

Had one a couple of days ago out of an Ice Pick cow.  Really stout heifer calf.  Red with white splashed around the legs, belly and hips.  She was good sized, but was unassisted.  Not a monster by any means in the clubby world.  Time will always tell, but she's cool for now.

Get a live one out of her first.  The first one can set up a cows productivity for the rest of her life.  Many a good heifers with lots of potential have never had a second calf, it's a shame.  Just because they're positively low bw doesn't mean they have to be junk.

No Sure Champ, but the Grand Goat is a pretty stout  supplement.  It has 'full stream' in it for the UC, and has really worked well in our experience.  Most of the big time guys I know use it in their sale wethers to get them ready.

Taking shots like this is in no way fair.  If you're not willing to share the experience or are scared to put it into public, don't even mention anything.  This is just a cheap blow for all anyone else knows.
