I got a 99 on the Iowa Test of Basic Skills when I was in 5th grade.  When my oldest daughter was in 3rd grade and about to take them for the first time, I told her that if she got a 99, I would take her out for pizza.  Wouldn't you know it, cost me $20.  Last Friday, she called me at my office and said Nolan, her oldest son, wanted to talk to me.  He's is third grade and, sure enough, he just got a 99 on his basic skills test.  I told Nolan that when his mother got her 99, I took her out for pizza.  He replied, "That's what mom said.  When are you coming over for mine?"  This time, though, it will cost me at least $40.  We're getting together this weekend, we still have all the test scorecards, believe it or not, and we're going to take a three generation 99 basic skills test score photo.  I'm the dumb one, though.  I didn't get mine until 5th grade!

My wife is 10 years younger than I am. We got married when she was 22 and I was 32 so no big deal but if you think about it. When I was 15 and taking drivers training, she was still in kindergarten. When you at that it just seems strange. Still going strong after 22 years <party>

my husband and i won a trip to hollywood to the red carpet premier of the smash hit (hehe) movie "we are marshall"...and was invited to the warner brothers "after party"....never seen anything like it in my life...they converted a parking lot into the coolest tailgate party i have ever seen....the grill was a tanker trailer pulled by an 18 wheeler...the top half lifted up...it took about 10 guys to run that grill....
anyway, saw ALOT of stars...and the weird thing was...they were ALL so tiny...the one that stands out in my mind the most...sylvester stallone...wow...i just always thought he was larger than life in those rocky movies....and come to find out, im taller than he is...

I can raise one eyebrow at a time :O) I'm left handed but cut right handed with scissors. I'm fiercely protective of my children but probably their worst critic. They've grown up strong and independent but know we are always there for them. I never expect anyone to do anything that I'm not willing to do myself.
I was born on Valentine's Day.

I'm right handed.    I can draw/sketch but cannot paint.  My favorite shows are the old black & white Lassie and CSI - the Vegas one.

I am one of the oldest active bull fighters (rodeo clown) that I know of.  RW

cool rw...my husband used to ride bulls...but a broken shoulder and pelvis pretty much did him in...

i grew up showing cattle in 4-h...he grew up riding bulls....his rodeo friends would give him a really hard time at first...teasing him about giving them haircuts, washing and blowing drying the cattle and using "hair spray" on them...i think they are pretty much over it now...

I've been married for 20 years.Played basketball in HS. I rode bareback horses in college for UT Martin(shoulder & elbow really paying the price now). I rode & trained barrell futurity colts for several years, when I couldn't take the beating of rodeo any longer.. I've had shorthorns since 1970. I collect Shorthorn memorabilia as a hobby. I'm an avid reader. And my hair is so curly that when in HS everybody was growing theirs to their shoulders , when I tried it, mine looked like  O0.

My mother couldn't speak a word of English when she started first grade, (Czech).

On my Paternal side, I have the powder horn on display that was used in both the Revolutionary, and Civil Wars.

Had one too many brain cells to make bull riding a carear.

The average generations change is 45 years. (I am 45 years older than my only child). My Great Grandfather was a Civil War Vet.

Elbee - So you have two brain cells? I can get away with saying that because of my mispent youth. Some will say that I never have gotten any smarter, they're probably right too. RW
