Evidently, some of my family as well as my in-laws all slept pretty close between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Two sisters(out of three), two brother-in-laws, two sister-in-laws, 4 cousins, my Daddy as well as myself were all born in September ;)!!!!!!! The singer Sting and J.D. Sumner are in my family tree. A little research told me Doc's home county was named after a relative of mine. Had another relative beaten near death in the chambers of the U.S. Senate I think over some kind of slavery debate sometime in maybe the 1800's. I'm an avid hunter, guitar picker, Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, was best art student in high school, Star Greenhand, Star Chapter Farmer, have an American Farmer Degree, awarded Grower of the Year in my county 2 weeks ago, have a  (cow) (dog)BS from UGA in AG Econ. and I love the Lord, my Wife, my Kids, my family, my cattle, my dog, my cats, my Dawgs, and even love my steerplanet family.  ;D  (cow) (dog) (angel) (thumbsup) <hero>

Umm lets see.... I am allergic to almost everything in a barn, that's why i am always doped up on Benadryl, I absolutely love showing cattle and don't see my self stopping, I love getting on Facebook, I call Bill Rasor my Uncle when not around him because my last name is spelled Reasor. I show Salers and Shorthorn however this year i have a Hereford. I raise Shorthorn however I am a very new breeder. I get on Steerplanet almost everyday! ;D

I know how you feel a while back my doc. told me that if I wanted to quit having problems with my allergies then I would have to move into town, get rid of my dogs and change my career path.  I said give me the drugs.

I was born with two thumbs on my right hand.  The second thumb was very small and removed when I was 4 days old.  My fathers uncle was also born with 2 thumbs on his right hand.  They never removed his.

M bar, I thought you were going to say you got threatened with a Grey Hound bus ride home from a show one time.  Just kidding.

I showed the biggest Shorthorn bull to ever show in Denver.  A bull named Evergreen CT Kendall that belonged to Fieser's Polled Shorthorns in Kansas.  He weighed in at 2885 pounds and was probably 66" plus tall.  He was too big to fit in the chute they were measuring in.  He was a son of Evergreen Seville.  To that time, the biggest one was Lefty 83rd that belonged to the same farm and was shown by Twig Marston and weighed 2650, if I remember right.

you all are so interesting!  Here goes:  I was a provincial 4-H public speaking and demonstration champion (I dread speaking now), there are 30 years between my grandfather and when my father was born and also 30 years between my father and me and keeping with the thumb theme, I nearly cut off my left thumb in a saw accident, it is now fused in a fixed position with bone chips from my hip.

I was born with two brains--sure wish they'd left the good one in and taken the bad one out instead of the other way around!!  Just Kidding!!

I'd be careful about admitting how much you know about SD.  You might end up as the target of an alien abduction!!

I do 4-H, run cows, work on tractors, and have big dreams of doing something worthwhile and fun with my life. OK, I'll admit it.

I AM A LITTLE STRANG! I'm currently raising corn and tomatoes in my windowsills, my favorite video game in John Deere American Farmer, I have cattle and horse sculptures and pictures all over my room, I never where anything but blue jeans (except for the Livestock Judgings when I wear Reatas), and I love nothing more than to take recess by getting on Steer Planet or shooting my 20 gauge.

When I was 7, I prayed that God would make my life more interesting.  I was bored & being a whiney little kid.  3 days later, a tornado destroyed our farm.

In 1995, I caught the Oklahoma State record walleye.  I caught the fish on a lure I'd found laying on the ground.  Held that record for 9 years before it was beaten.

I was the National 4-H Beef Project winner (that year there were 2 Shorthorn breeders who won - Rex Tribbett was the other one)

Somehow TV has become a small part of my life - I used to dance on Country Music Television's county dance show - The White Horse Cafe - had a great dance partner (just don't tell my wife).  Now I have occasionally hosted RFD's "live" show - mostly when they have a cattle related show.

Have exhibited two national champions in the Shorthorn breed - and for the Shorthorn historians - I have the only female to beat Ron Alden's great Margie 924 female - he beat me at the junior nationals and we beat her in Louisville.

Was the high individual in swine at the national collegiate judging contest and would have won cattle and overall except for one class of Polled Hereford bulls.  The maddening thing about the class was that the late Herman Purdy (arguably one of the best cattlemen of all time) placed them exactly the way I did the next day in the National Polled Hereford Show.
